POLICE COM project gains traction as it enters operational phase!

In a bid to enhance the capabilities of educators and trainers tasked with shaping the next generation of law enforcement officers, the POLICE COM project has officially commenced. This ambitious initiative brings together a consortium of six partners
hailing from three European Union nations: MISE HERo, Mindset Mentors, Centrul Pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente, Sindicatul Polițiștilor Europeni Europol, Mykolas Romeris University, Social Innovation Fund/Socialinių inovacijų fondas.
At present, the project has delivered its inaugural deliverable – the Curriculum.
Drawing insights from an extensive survey conducted among police trainers, key training areas have been pinpointed. These include adeptness in:

• Communicating in High-pressure situations
• Conflict Resolution and De-escalation
• Respectful and Non-discriminatory Communication
• Active Listening Skills
• Negotiation and Persuasion Techniques
• Emotional intelligence in Communication
